Shield Insurance Broker Partners with OIC to Promote Insurance Knowledge Among Youth

“Shield Insurance Broker,” operated by Ngern Tid Lor Public Company Limited a subsidiary of Tidlor Holdings (TIDLOR), led by Mrs. Athitaya Phoonwathu, Chief Insurance Officer, deployed a team to support the “Young Insurance Communicators Program 2025” or Insurefluencer the New GEN 2025, organized by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC). The initiative aims to enhance insurance knowledge among youth from more than eight participating educational institutions nationwide. Shield Insurance Broker conducted engaging Activity-Based Learning sessions to promote insurance knowledge, fostering analytical thinking and decision-making skills through simulated real-life scenarios. The program also provides opportunities for youth to take on the role of “young insurance communicators,” enabling them to share insurance knowledge with their peers and surrounding communities, supporting effective financial risk management planning. 

This collaboration with the OIC reflects the company’s commitment to conducting business alongside creating social impact through the promotion of financial and insurance literacy, helping improve people’s quality of life sustainably. It aligns with the ESG framework, particularly the “Social” dimension, and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
