The following exclusions apply:

• The insured concealed or made false statements within 2 years from the date the life insurance contract was made.
• The insured commits suicide within 1 year from the policy's coverage start date, or from the date the insurer approves an increased sum insured (in which case the exclusion applies only to the additional sum insured).
• The insured is intentionally killed by the beneficiary (the beneficiary who committed the act will not receive their portion, but other beneficiaries may still receive theirs).
• The insured misstated their true age and the insurer can prove that, at the time the policy was issued, the correct age was outside the policy's premium rate limits.

The insured's age used to calculate the premium = current year − the insured's year of birth.
