Shield Insurance Broker Partners with OIC to Promote Insurance Knowledge Among Youth

“Shield Insurance Broker,” operated by Ngern Tid Lor Public Company Limited a subsidiary of Tidlor Holdings (TIDLOR), led by Mrs. Athitaya Phoonwathu, Chief Insurance Officer, deployed a team to support the “Uniting the Insurance Industry for Education” project, organized by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC). The initiative delivered knowledge on compulsory motor insurance to 100 upper primary and upper secondary students through a fun Activity-Based Learning approach. The program enhanced analytical thinking and decision-making skills, while offering opportunities to win prizes, enabling students to gain knowledge alongside enjoyment and engagement. In addition, 100 helmets were donated to a school under the patronage of Wat Thammanimit to promote road safety awareness among youth. The event was also honored by the presence of Ms. Wasumdee Wasinon, Deputy Secretary-General, Intermediaries Supervision and Regional Insurance, OIC, who closely observed the activities at the multipurpose area of Wat Thammanimit Municipal School, Samut Songkhram Province. 

This collaboration with the OIC reflects the company’s commitment to conducting business alongside creating social impact through the promotion of financial and insurance literacy, helping improve people’s quality of life sustainably.
