Shield Insurance Broker Partners with OIC to Promote Fundamental Insurance Knowledge

“Shield Insurance Broker,” operated by Ngern Tid Lor Public Company Limited (TIDLOR), led by Mrs. Athitaya Phoonwathu (second from left), Chief Insurance Officer, and Mr. Charnrit Sukplang (left), Head of Areegator Business, deployed a team to support the “Uniting the Insurance Industry for Education” project, organized by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC). 

As part of the initiative, 100 helmets were donated to upper secondary students at Pamok Wittayaphum School, with Mr. Chaiwat Munnok (second from right), School Director, receiving the donation. In addition, the team conducted “Insurance Knowledge Promotion” activities for more than 50 students through engaging Activity-Based Learning sessions. The program simulated real-life scenarios to help students understand the benefits of various types of insurance, including compulsory motor insurance, voluntary motor insurance, and personal accident insurance. The activities encouraged analytical thinking and decision-making, enabling students to gain knowledge alongside enjoyment. 

The event was also honored by the presence of Ms. Wasumdee Wasinon (third from left), Deputy Secretary-General, Intermediaries Supervision and Regional Insurance, and Mr. Surin Tanasupapol (third from right), Assistant Secretary-General, Corporate Strategy, Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), who closely observed the activities at the multipurpose area of Pamok Wittayaphum School, Ang Thong Province, recently.
