  • Transforms the word “Unlucky” into the “Relief Sheet” concept, bundled with 30 days of free personal accident insurance.

  • The campaign drove brand awareness up to 57% and increased website visits by 394%.

“Shield Insurance Broker,” operated by Ngern Tid Lor Public Company Limited, a subsidiary of Tidlor Holdings (TIDLOR), reinforces the power of its creative ideas and brand commitment by winning the Bronze Award at the Marketing Award of Thailand (MAT Award 2025) for the “Relief Sheet” campaign in the Brand Experience & Communication category. The campaign helps make insurance more accessible while communicating the brand’s position as a service broker that genuinely aims to reduce risks for Thai consumers through tangible experiences, leading to measurable business outcomes.

Creative Concept: Turning “Unlucky” into Peace of Mind
Mrs. Athitaya Phoonwathu, Chief Insurance Officer, stated that the key goal of Shield Insurance Broker is to enable Thais to access comprehensive and inclusive insurance protection, helping to alleviate financial burdens from unexpected events that may occur at any time. The “Relieve the Unlucky Moments” builds on the commonly used word “Unlucky,” transforming it into the “Relief Sheet” concept, designed to resemble a pain relief patch while incorporating benefits linked to financial challenges, such as “relieving back pain” from carrying debt or “easing heart palpitations” after sudden expenses. Each sheet is bundled with 30 days of free personal accident insurance, delivering peace of mind and preparedness for unexpected situations. The campaign was further extended through Troop Marketing activities, distributing “Relief Unlucky Sheets” across high-risk areas in Bangkok, including Rama 2 Road, Ratchada–Ladprao Intersection, Asoke Intersection, Ratchaprasong Intersection, and Silom Road, to raise public awareness of the importance of insurance.

Driving Awareness and Expanding Access to Insurance

The success of the “Relieve the Unlucky Moments” campaign demonstrates how “Shield Insurance Broker” can transform its brand promise into a tangible customer experience, leading to concrete business outcomes. Following the campaign launch, brand awareness increased to 57%, while website traffic surged by 394%, reflecting growing interest and awareness of insurance among the public.

This award reaffirms the success of Shield Insurance Broker, not only in creative communication but also in delivering tangible positive impact to society, while consistently providing peace of mind to customers from purchase to claims, in line with its long-standing brand promise.
